Primary & secondary markets
Hashstack breaks down the supported crypto assets into two categories
- 1.Primary markets
- 2.Secondary markets
As the name suggests, primary markets are the crypto assets central to Hashstack's operations. Primary markets make the following in-dapp interactions possible
- 1.Supply liquidity to the protocol
- 2.Borrow liquidity from the protocol
- 3.All liquidity provider & borrower actions.
At Hashstack, we have carefully curated the below list of 5 markets based on their market liquidity, price stability, market interest.
- 1.wBTC
- 2.USDC
- 3.USDT
- 4.wETH
- 5.DAI
Secondary markets are the crypto-assets a borrower can convert their acquired debt to through swap, stake, trade. Secondary assets exist on the Hashstack carefully integrates. The secondary markets in comparison to primary markets are less-liquid, less-price stable assets, but with hyper-active development teams building real-use products.
On Hashstack, a borrower acquires debt in a primary market, may/may not withdraw a portion of the debt into their personal wallet; while spending the remnant loan on an integrated dapp converting the primary market into a secondary market. This allows debt-seekers to amplify their trading capital upto three times, and keep the profits earned to themself.
